My Entry
Here is a taste of my entryway. I love the grey and the large black and white photos of my daughter. I might be re-styling that table today, just for the heck of it...
Cabin Style
My family has a log cabin in New Hampshire that is very charming. It is filled with fun cabin-like objects, old wicker and quilts, lots of red white & blue, and an old toddler bed that is the favorite seat in the house for napping and book reading. Central Park West
This is a two bedroom apartment on the Upper West Side of Manhattan that a client and lovely man designed www.pauldavisnewyork.com. I just love this tiny French Country kitchen, and the unexpected pale lavender walls in the living room. The saturated silk pillows really pop off what ends up being neutral walls!

Welcome
Here's a clip of a corner of my 1 bedroom apartment in Brooklyn, NY. My 2.5 year old and I share the bedroom, and it's certainly been an experiment in urban living, creating a lovely space that suits us both. Here's a snapshot, while more literal examples are on the way.
This blog is an expression of my love of decorating (obsession really), and an explanation of how to do it...where to find it...and for cheap!
Thanks for visiting, and let the sharing begin!
